Finally, after over a year of waiting, I'm finally attending another Ultimate Taste Test (UTT 7.0). The folks of Mercato Centrale (Anton, RJ, Janice) have put their skills to the fore again in bringing together local culinary fare in the line of a discerning public's palate. And the winners gets to become a regular at Mercato Centrale.
I'm hopeful that I'll find more organic food tonight. Keeping my fingers crossed and my palate open!

I travel farther than where I live...
...just to get my fix of Ya Kun Kaya Toast.
The nearest branch from my office is along Escriva Drive, Ortigas Center (almost beside Astoria Plaza). Travelling there isn't that bad, if you compare it to having to go all the way to the NAIA Terminal 2 in Pasay City -- LOL! Or go all the way to Trinoma Mall in Quezon City. No thanks!
Since I first visited Ya Kun Kaya Toast (YKK) last week, I've been back THRICE. Nope, am not addicted to it. Just REALLY addicted. Hahahaha!
This is what I ordered the other night:
That's the Full Order of: Peanut Butter+Kaya toast (2 pcs), Milo Dinosaur (mmm, iced Milo yeahhh!) and 2 pcs. soft-boiled eggs. The condiments for the soft-boiled eggs are pictured at the back.
The Milo Dinosaur with this order might be a bit of a flavor overkill, since it's blended with condensed milk. A better alternative would've been just black coffee or teh tarik (pulled tea). Nevertheless, it's totally omnomnomnom...
